By sponsoring a child, you are playing a vital role in breaking the cycle of poverty. Providing the basic necessities for life, such as : food, clothes, housing, and healthcare. You also provide education, an important and valued tool for every child’s future. You can give a child the opportunity to be the first of generations to graduate, find employment, and make a better life for themselves, while also providing for their families.

You can select whichever child that you feel led to sponsor! You will select the name of the child you choose to sponsor on the checkout page. We will have a count available at all times for you to see how many children are currently being sponsored. We are in constant communication with our team in Uganda, allowing us to know better which children are at the highest priority for sponsorship. Children begin school at the age of 3, therefore any child under the age of 3 will not have school fees. They will be provided with clothing, food, and any medical check-ups with their sponsorships until they begin school.

Even the public schools in Uganda are of a high and unaffordable cost. Most school’s offer boarding, which for parents is a blessing. To know that their child is fed, clothed, and under a roof is more than some parents can provide on their own. Each term runs for three months at a time, then allowing a two week break to come home. For the particular schools in Mpigi, the minimum price for boarding a three month term is anywhere from $200-$400 US dollars. This is out of reach for the majority of families here, which is why YOU can make a difference. We are in the process of creating ‘Redeemed Primary Christian School.’ Once the school is open, the donation amount for sponsoring will decrease, allowing more children the opportunity for education.
